Arrive in Valencia and settle into the private villa that is home for the retreat — pool, terraces, and space for the whole group. The afternoon is a guided walk through the old town — the Cathedral, Plaza de la Virgen, the Silk Exchange — then along the Turia gardens to the City of Arts and Sciences, seeing the city through the eyes of someone who might actually live here. The evening opens with a welcome dinner back at the villa: good food, good wine, no agenda.
Morning: Tharros mortgage session — how non-resident financing works, what banks actually look for, what you can borrow, and what it costs. Individual 1:1 mortgage consultations run in parallel. Afternoon: legal and notary session — buying steps, due diligence, taxes, hidden costs. Evening: expat panel — real buyers who’ve completed the process share their honest experience.

In the evening, Valencia’s seafront Holy Week processions in Cabanyal (Semana Santa Marinera) — or the evening is yours.
Morning: personal roadmap sessions — a 1:1 conversation with the Tharros team to map out exactly what your next 3, 6, and 12 months look like if you decide to move forward. Then the group heads to Valencia’s Mercado Central — one of Europe’s great food markets — for a walk through the stalls, shopping like a local, picking out the ingredients for lunch. Back at the villa, a hands-on paella cooking class by the pool in paella’s home region: you make it yourself, step by step, and eat it together at the farewell lunch. The best paella you’ll ever have — because you cooked it. Buen provecho. The last evening is yours to enjoy at the villa, and you check out on Sunday morning.
