Do I need to be ready to buy to attend? +
No. You need to be seriously considering it — but you don’t need to have made a decision. Many guests come precisely because they’re stuck at the “should I actually do this?” stage. The retreat is designed to give you the clarity to answer that question honestly.
Can non-residents actually get a mortgage in Spain? +
Yes. Spanish banks actively lend to non-residents. Typical non-resident mortgages go up to 70% LTV, with competitive rates. Tharros has a 94% approval rate working across 12+ Spanish banks, and can issue pre-approvals during the retreat itself.
Is this a sales trip in disguise? +
No. The retreat is priced as a standalone experience — we’re not making money on property commissions, and the estate agents involved are not incentivised to push you toward any particular property. The goal is clarity, not a transaction.
What kind of properties will we view? +
A curated mix across the Costa Blanca Norte — apartments, townhouses, and villas ranging from approximately €210K to €650K. Properties are selected to represent the genuine market, not just the best-looking listings.
I’m coming alone — will that be awkward? +
Not at all. Around half of previous retreat attendees have been solo travellers. The format is specifically designed to build genuine connections over four days.
What is Tharros Brokers’ fee? +
0.45% of the mortgage amount, payable only on successful completion. If we don’t get you approved, you pay nothing. This fee is entirely separate from the retreat booking cost.
What is the cancellation policy? +
Full refund until May 31, 2026. 75%/50% refund until July 1. 50%/25% until August 1. Non-refundable from August 1 onwards. You may transfer your spot to another person at no cost up to 14 days before the retreat. See full terms →
